ORDINATOR power supply
The power supply of the ORDINATOR was custom built from spare parts.
It provides the bus assembly with unstabilized
+5V DC which is stabilized by 7805 power regulators soldered
directly on the back of each circuit board connector, thus providing
the cleanest power possible to each board.
The power supply also provides stabilized -5V DC, +12V DC and -12V DC
power directly.

During later years, the raw +5V power provided by the original power
supply depicted here proved to be insufficient, thus an auxiliary
power supply was used to provide unstabilized +5V DC.
The auxiliary was automatically switched on with the master
using a slave power signal.

The ORDINATOR power philosophy is described on page 7 of the book "THE ORDINATOR PROJECT".
